Wisdom Meets Passion, by Dan Miller and Jared Angaza, is a unique collaborative effort between a father and his son. This book provides clear insight into the profound differences that exist in how baby-boomers and members of generations X and Y approach life and work. More importantly, the reader will discover how these differences complement one another and can be much more of a blessing than a curse if properly understood.
I found this book to be not only inspiring and challenging, but enlightening in a surprising way. Not only will the reader discover realistic reasons to hope and practical steps to take to build towards the future, but will gain perspective on a very special father-son dynamic. This dynamic, though a side-benefit to the book, is perhaps the most valuable element of this work. Dan Miller and Jared Angaza could not appear to be more different. At least as far as the eye can see. This book allows the reader to look under the surface of this relationship and discover that when two people share common values and purpose they can work together effectively in spite of their differences.
I recommend this book to everyone who desires to grow as a leader and discern how to enable individuals from different backgrounds to work together effectively.
