Matt Bennett is passionate about helping people know and love the truth. Pursuing this passion has led Matt to mentor youth and children, lead evangelistic missions to several nations, and teach in Bible Schools. The primary area Matt exercises his passionate pursuit of truth is in the local church. He has served as a pastor since the year 2000 in both the United States and in Canada.
Matt married his best friend, Jessica, in 1999. Since then they have become the parents of a son and two daughters. Matt considers it his greatest calling to be a husband and father who models Christ-like love and leadership.
Matt chose to follow Jesus at a very young age thanks to the leadership of his Christian parents. A turning point came in his life when, at the age of 18, after a string of setbacks he made the following decision:
If I only get one thing in life right, it is going to be my relationship with God.
As a result of that decision, Matt attended Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Matt graduated from Rhema in 1999 and has been ordained with the Rhema Ministerial Association International since 2008.
Matt is currently the pastor of Living Faith Christian Church in Collingwood, Ontario.
